How Cold is Your Vodka?

Elin Wibell from Absolut vodka doesn’t recommend you drink vodka ice cold.
“The perfect serving temperature is between 5 and 8 degrees C,” he says. “The colder the vodka, the more flavour and smell is lost.”
However ,Mittie Hellmich, author of Mini Bar Vodka , explains that if you’re not mixing vodka with anything ,putting it in the freezer to chill will make it more pleasant to drink. “It gives the spirit a pleasing,thick,syrupy-like texture, which when sipped with a glass of mineral water is one of the best ways to enjoy it.”
Seems the choice is yours.
